Our Team

Peter has over 25 years of software development, architecture, IT, and hands-on leadership experience; spanning various technologies, industries, and company growth stages. He’s held executive positions at small and mid-sized companies, built several successful engineering teams from scratch, and led three engineering teams through acquisitions.

Before founding Knowledgewerkz, Peter served as Head of Engineering and Software Architect at Servio (acquired by CrowdSource). As Head of Engineering, he assumed complete responsibility for engineering, technical operations, and IT; and represented these functions and systems through all technology-related aspects of CrowdSource’s acquisition of Servio.

Before Servio, Peter was Director of Quality Engineering at Box, where he was responsible for all quality assurance and test automation activities. He built the “Tools and Frameworks” development team from scratch and scaled his combined (dev + test) organization by 3x in less than two years. Peter also drove Box’s transition from completely manual to automated testing by leading the design, implementation, operation, and adoption of a massively parallel and distributed cross-platform test automation platform, ensuring Box’s transition to a Continuous Delivery release cycle.

Peter has also held engineering management and architect positions at Instill/iTradeNetwork, Third Pillar Systems, Companyfinance.com, and Zephyr Solutions. In his spare time, he’s enjoyed speaking at technology conferences and educational institutions, as well as advising startups, non-profits, and venture capital firms.
